National Installer Of The Year Finalists Announced

It is our immense pleasure to announce Securitatem Installation has been selected as a finalist for Installer of the Year at the British Security Awards 2021.

We are especially honoured to be recognised for our work with the Canterbury Oast Trust, a Kent based charity that supports vulnerable adults living on and running a family friendly farm. During the early stages of the pandemic 2020, the charity received intelligence threatening the safety of its livestock and potentially those adults housed on the site. With outdated and non-operational security systems and a challenging financial position due to a forced closure of the farms tourist attraction due to COVID 19, we were moved to step in and address their concerns.

Although there were significate obstacles to overcome, our installation team used all their ingenuity to find practical solutions. We were able to repair and reprogramme the front security barrier, provide 5 new cameras with inbuilt amplified audio system, arranged sponsorship of an alarm system (through our contacts at Texecom) and continuing to monitor the threat throughout the duration of the crisis.

Securitatem Installation CEO Joe McGee said “It gave us great pleasure in making a positive impact in securing and protecting a charitable organisation at a challenging time. The charity helps to support such a worthy cause and it was a pleasure to support them in their hour of need”.

During a tumultuous 12 months for all industries, this national recognition emphasizes the hard work and dedication of all the team and the Securitatem Group as a whole. As the world went into lockdown last year, Securitatem Installations continued to support its existing customers and those businesses facing new adversities.

The British Security Awards is now in its 21st year and celebrates the achievements of the UK’s security industry from the past 12 months, both regionally and nationally. Organised by the British Security Industry Association, the 2021 award showcase will take place online on the 30th June 2021.

We wish all finalists the best of luck.
