What type of camera systems do you offer?

We install various camera systems, including built in analytics. Our systems range from IP and HD analogue, all can be connected for remote access. Enabling you to keep track of you residential or commercial property when vacant.

Do you offer takeovers of alarm systems?

Yes. We offer this service, and support the takeover with a maintenance or monitoring maintenance annual contract.

What types of systems do Securitatem Installations install?

Monitored Alarm Systems – a monitored alarm system is connected to a dedicated alarm receiving centre (ARC) which monitors your property. Upon the receipt of a confirmed alarm notification the ARC will contact you, your nominated key-holders, and where applicable the Police.

Self-Monitored Alarm Systems – the system will telephone or notify people you have specified as key-holders when the alarm is triggered.

App Access – this allows you to set and unset your alarm remotely, from anywhere in the world with a secure internet connection. Users will receive push notifications, enabling them to view the history, and check the status of the system in real time.

Do you install Access Control Systems?

Yes. We install access control systems for both domestic and commercial premises. Our engineers provides quality service for homeowners, landlords and business owners.

Will my contents insurance premium drop if I have an alarm installed by an NSI Gold installer?

In some cases, you will be offered a discount, but there will be conditions imposed. Such as, having the alarm fitted by a professional installer with stipulated accreditations, ensuring the alarm is always set when the property is vacant, or during the night whilst asleep.

Can I set my home intruder alarm at night?

Yes. The alarm systems we provide allows you to set, or partially-set the system depending on your situational needs.

How long does installation take?

This varies depending on the size of the property, and the required specifications for the premises and circumstances in question. Typically, an intruder alarm installation for a three-bedroom house will take one day to install.

How do I prevent a false alarm?

False alarms do occur, however there are steps you can take to prevent them, such as ensuring the alarm system is professionally maintained. We offer a variety of annual maintenance contracts to keep your system in optimum condition.

Are alarms sensitive to pets?

If you have pets at home, we can install pet immune PIR detectors, which will reduce the risk of false alarm activations.

Will my alarm work in a power cut?

Our alarm control panels include a standby battery, enabling the system to operate in the event of an electricity outage.

My alarm went off but the monitoring station didn’t call me. Why is this?

If you enter the code and disarm the system within 90 seconds, the monitoring station will receive an abort signal. The operator is aware that an authorised person is present, therefore no action is taken.
